Working as a Freelance Graphic designer for Huie design, I helped concept the branding for the Short Pump Town Center. I designed the logo and illustrated the food court banners as well as the 3D fountains that were fabricated. Other contributions were concept drawings, sketches and patterns.
The Short Pump Town Center project in Richmond, VA by Huie Design and TVS Architects is a tribute to the city's vibrant history. Named after a colonial tavern with a "short pump" for water, the project's design is a nod to the area's past. The food court pays homage to William Byrd II, the founder of Richmond, tying the project to the city's historical roots.
